The Evaluation Kit is designed as a laboratory system for evaluation of focal plane arrays (FPAs) built using FLIR’s Standard ISC9705 and ISC9803 Readout Integrated Circuits (ROICs). This system provides high-functionality imaging capabilities for FPAs built using these ROICs. This system operates the FPA – mounted in a laboratory dewar – in a four-output mode providing 14-bit digital data at rates up to 50 Mega-Pixel per second, yielding 125Hz of 640 x 512 imagery. For high speed applications, increased frame rates can be achieved by windowing the focal plane to sub-arrays. FPA Adjustable integration times, gain mode adjustment for low background applications, FPA windowing capability for increased frame rates, a built-in frame buffer for simultaneous and independent analog and digital output data streams, built-in programmable delays, variety of external synchronization modes, super framing for dynamic range extension, IRIG-B embedded so each data frame will be time stamped to the sub-millisecond.

Pricing includes one wafer of tested ROIC. A CD-ROM is furnished with each wafer that contains complete test data for each ROIC device. A mechanical database in GDS-II and AutoCAD format is delivered on CD-ROM. A complete documentation package is provided, including a User's Guide, Technical Application Notes and Mechanical Interface Drawings.
