This specialty mid format chip is designed for use with two-color QWIP detectors, one mid- and one long- wave. The ISC0006 utilizes 40 micron pitch pixels, with 2 outputs with snap-shot mode operation where both colors integrate simultaneously. A direct injection front end circuit is used and the readout noise for the MWIR mode is less than 1200 e- and less than 4000e- for the LWIR mode. Compatible with P-on-N QWIP detectors, this mid format ROIC supports the advanced features such as, adjustable integration time and gain, integrate then read mode, skimming, detector bias adjustments, and supports integration capacitors >17e6 for the MWIR signal and >87e6 electrons for the LWIR signal.
