Phoenix OEM Camera 

Offering all the flexibility and performance of FLIR's commercial Phoenix Camera line, the OEM version is designed for the specific customer interface and environmental requirements. Northrop Grumman’s successful Litening ER and AT Pods uses the 640x512 Phoenix OEM for its FLIR.

Commercial Phoenix in Global Hawk

Commercial Phoenix cameras have been incorporated by Northrop Grumman into the Global Hawk, a high-altitude, long-endurance system that provides near real-time intelligence, reconnaissance and surveillance information day or night and in all weather conditions. Global Hawk is a single engine jet-powered aircraft with a wingspan of 116ft, equivalent in wing size to a Boeing 737 commercial airliner.  It has a range of 14,000 nautical miles and can fly at altitudes of up to 65,000 feet for more than 35 hours.

Thermal Imaging Sensor Assembly (TISA)

The Thermal Imaging Sensor Assembly (TISA), developed for use in man-portable Lightweight Laser Designator Rangefinder (LLDR) is the perfect camera for small payload, airborne applications as well. Supporting a wide range of FPA formats and pixel pitches, it offers extremely high performance at ultra low weight and power requirements.

Miniature Cameras 

FLIR's miniature uncooled camera initiative has been well-received by all branches of the armed services. Over 4000 Photon and Micron cameras have been delivered for use as infrared payload cameras for platforms including RAVEN, Dragon Eye, and others.

Core by Indigo provides Focal Plane Arrays (FPAs), Detector/ Dewar/ Cooler Assemblies (DDCAs) and Digital Imaging Engines, all to a customers specific requirements. Applications include IRCM, IR Seekers, Missile Warning, Targeting and Navigation, Driver Vision Enhancement (DVE), Situational Awareness, Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (ISR) and Infrared Search & Track (IRST).
